FTIA is now offering Informational Webinars for prospective adoptive parents who would like to learn more about international adoption. No matter where you live, you can take advantage of this convenient option!
A webinar allows you to view a presentation on your computer while on the phone with a member of our staff. You will need a good internet connection for this to work well - a dial-up connection won’t work. The phone call is toll free.
By attending the webinar you will gain a better understanding of the international adoption process, including: How long the adoption process takes; The steps that must be completed in order to adopt internationally; Costs involved in adopting from various countries; A general overview of cultural differences involved when adopting internationally; and Information on the children available for adoption.
This is an interactive session with a member of the FTIA team so your specific questions will also be answered. Families who have adopted through FTIA will join in at the end of the presentation to share their personal stories. The webinar will last about one and a half hours but you can leave the session at any time.
Participation is limited, so pre-registration is required.
